Parramatta Light Rail - Stabling & Maintenance Facility

Meadows Consulting Surveyors played a key role in the delivery of the Parramatta Light Rail Stabling and Maintenance Facility, working in partnership with client Laing O’Rourke during construction. 

Meadows Consulting involvement included providing detailed surveying services to support critical phases of the project, from initial site control establishment through to precise monitoring and verification of construction works.  A major component of our scope was the construction of the high-tolerance fixed track slab, where meticulous surveying was required to achieve the stringent alignment and level requirements necessary for light rail operations.

By delivering accurate spatial data and on-site support, Meadows Consulting helped ensure the facility and track slab were constructed to exacting design specifications, while also contributing to efficient project sequencing and quality assurance.  Our expertise in large-scale infrastructure surveying proved essential to meeting the client’s requirements and maintaining progress on this important piece of transport infrastructure for Greater Western Sydney.
