Moorebank Logistics Park is Australia’s largest freight infrastructure project and will link Port Botany direct to rail terminals and warehousing on a 243 hectare site.
Moorebank Intermodal Terminal
Moorebank Logistics Park will have 850,000sqm of high specification warehousing, as well as auxiliary services including retail and service offerings.
A rail connection to the Southern Sydney Freight Line (SSFL) has been constructed which has direct access to the site, while the M5 and M7 arterial roads are only minutes away, providing a complete supply chain solution driving savings in time and costs for onsite tenants
Survey Roles Provided By Meadows Consulting
In early 2019 Meadows Consulting were engaged to assist Rhomberg Rail and CPB on the construction of two connection lines from the SSFL into the Moorebank Logistics Park. The project entailed construction of approximately 3km of dual track, 2 cross-over’s, 5 turnout’s, TCM Survey and Control Survey.
On completion of the track construction for the connection roads Meadows Consulting were also engaged by Martinus Rail in late 2019 for the construction of crane rail within the IMEX facility. This entailed construction of 3 crane rail roads 700m in length each.
